Weekend away

I would love to have a someone special to take away for a romantic weekend at a nice manor house in England.
It would consider of a very nice room, maybe a treatment, nice walks around the grounds, afternoon tea and then a very special meal to top the evening off.

The thing is, it seems impossible to find a decent girl who is worth it.
It seems like decent girls in the UK and few and far between, i want someone who would really appreciate it and enjoy it and not someone who would just say things such as " im bored, can we just watch eastenders".

Am i expecting too much from people now-a-days?

If you think you fit the bill, let me know!

Feedback - Breakfast of champions

One of the main ways you can improve in anything you do is through feedback. Feedback can also be called criticism and can come in two forms; positive and negative. The question is: when does feedback become negative?

Feedback from others helps us realise our flaws and gives us direction on what to improve on and how to better ourselves. Sometimes it can be hard to take, especially if you personally feel you did something well only to be told that actually it wasn't as good as you originally thought.

Negative feedback can be extremely hard to take, the person giving the feedback may struggle to get their point across clearly and instead of appearing to be trying to help, it may appear as a personal attack on the individual which wont help either party, the person receiving the feedback may feel disheartened and demotivated to correct their errors in the future, whilst the person giving the feedback may loose the respect of others due to the manor in which they handled the situation which may potentially impact on productivity.

When feedback is given in a positive fashion, the individual is more likely to take onboard any suggestions to help them improve. This is what companies and people should be looking to do. Helping people through positive feedback can increase motivation as well as improving efficiency and the quality of work.

One of the main differentials between the two types of feedback (positive and negative) is how the feedback is given to the individual. If the points are simply written down they are open to the interpretation of the individual and something that you wrote in a manor which you felt appropriate may be interpreted by someone else in a rude and negative way. However, if you take the time to discuss the issues with the individual on a one to one basis, they are more likely to feel that you are trying to help them improve and that you want to make a real difference.

So what am I getting at? The next time you plan to give feedback to someone, take a moment to consider if the way you are doing it is suitable for the situation and that you have been clear in your points to reduce incorrect interpretation.

If you can take onboard positive feedback/constructive criticism you will better yourself, along with this others will see you acting upon their feedback and take note of the fact you want to improve and are doing what has been suggested. You are never too old or too good for feedback, it can help even the most experienced person from any walk of life. Don't take it as a personal attack and don't let it knock your confidence. View it as a way to better yourself for free, even if you don't like the job when you get the feedback you can take the feedback and learn from it and carry it with you to a new job or a new experience where you can hit the ground running as you have made the mistakes previously and have learnt from them and so hopefully won't make them a second time round.

Feedback can unite teams as well as improve the efficiency of how work is done in the future.

Happiness

When most people think of what would make them happy the first thing that usually comes to mind is money. People say this because money is likely to equal less financial worries and a better quality of life.

When I was younger I always wanted to be famous and have lots of money, heck I still do! However in reality the chances of becoming famous is very slim and therefore do you keep aiming for the stars or do you come to terms with your ‘average’ life.

I cant be the only person who has sat there and dreamed about having lots of money to go and buy lots of things to make myself very happy...and then realise that i’m not in that position so can’t do it. The thing is, compared to most people out there myself and others included live a very comfy life which other people dream of having.

As I’ve grown up i’ve realised that money is not everything that leads to happiness. Having a good family life, good friends around you to support you, job security etc. All lead to happiness even if you struggle financially, Everyone has different views on what would make them happy but the thing which usually always occurs is the fact that people are never happy with what they have and want more, this is known as the economic problem: people have infinite wants but there are finite resources.

Whether you want a new car, a new house, the newest technology etc... We are want for something, now wanting for something isn’t a bad thing. When you want something you are more likely to be better driven to achieve your aims and get what you want, this in turn will lead to other peoples success off the back of yours and their work and therefore satisfy their wants as well.

The issue arises when people become unmotivated to achieve and feel that their wants are unachievable, this leads to un-driven people who don’t feel their work is rewarded enough to apply themselves and put the effort in.

What is the point im trying to get at? Well, we can’t all be rich and famous. However, if you set yourselves realistic goals and achieve them your happiness will be there right with you as you have satisfaction from achieving your goals.

Some people don’t worry about having the latest goods, the best things, the quickest cars. We all have our own ideas of happiness, don’t let other peoples success and their aims fog your goals and your happiness, you have to make your own happiness in life because most people are not going to make it for you, they are all too busy trying to achieve their aims and goals.

What makes you happy?

Move out idea?

Right, at the moment i live at home and i have a nice area to live. I pay £200 a month in 'rent' to my parents. It is nice living at home as i have meals cooked/washing done/garage to put my car etc....

The only problem is i want more freedom and my own proper space.

I've seen places to rent in Milton Keynes (where i work) for around the £700 - £1,00 a month to rent. I would walk to work so would save a fortune in petrol ( at the moment costing me over £50 a week nearly).

I just cant decide what the best option for me is... im 19 with a good job.. should i go for it or wait a few more years??

Back to normality...

Well the holiday is officially over for me!

Went back to work today and after a few hours it felt like i had not had a holiday. Can't really complain though, i work with a really good bunch of people and enjoy their company etc...

It's amazing how different you feel when you are away on holiday and when you are back working at your desk, i would love to spend every day on holiday writing about it and reviewing it... it would be the perfect job!

Getting used to the early mornings again is going to take a while. This morning i was half asleep driving to work and it was the first time i've driven my car since the 17th December, lets just say i forgot how quick it can be and surprised myself and soon woke myself up!

I really need to get looking and book a holiday for the summer, as it stands at the moment i have no time booked off work this year... any suggestions on where to go? i was thinking Dubai, Bali or Hong Kong.

Holiday - Switzerland Les diablerets 23rd Dec- 2nd Jan

Switzerland 2010/11.

Tuesday 21st December:

Starting a holiday blog 2 days before actually leaving is not something I would usually do, however due to what appears to be complete incompetence at heathrow airport by BAA there could be many events before the holiday even starts that are worth including in the blog.

So, the plan: depart heathrow on BA0724 to geneva at 06:50 on Thursday 23rd December. Use the awesome Swiss train system to transport ourselves from geneva to les diablerets (the ski resort).

At the moment the met office has no snow forecast for heathrow from now till we leave (must be a positive), the heathrow airport website states that there will be a limited flight schedule in operation until 06:00 23rd thursday. In light of this, our flight should take off as scheduled and transport us to our destination as planned. I guess only time will tell.

It's simply a waiting game, the majority of the packing is done we all have our fingers crossed now!

British airways have just updated their flight schedule for Wednesday 22nd and the flight we are on on Thursday will be flying tomorrow! That's good news so fingers crossed we will be able to get away!!

Wednesday 22nd December:

One day to go till take off (hopefully). So far this morning there has been good and bad news, our flight took off this morning as scheduled so in that respect things are looking hopeful. However, it's snowing heavily here at the moment has been for hours, worst than that though is that it's settling!

I'm sat in the back room at the moment looking out the window and the snow shows no sign of stopping, come on snow just hold off till tomorrow night.

Due to the snow falling our confidence in getting away has taken a slight blow. Saying that though we have been able to check in online for our flight.... Only time will tell. From the information on the met office/BA/heathrow websites there is no snow falling at the airport, let's hope it stays that way, it will just mean our drive to the airport won't be very pleasant in the early hours of tomorrow morning.

Quick update: it's now midday and the snow has stopped! Just need it to stay this way now and maybe warm up a bit to melt some of the snow.

Now into the evening and we are all packed and ready to go! Still waiting on flight confirmation but by the looks of it/the news we are quietly confident! Time for an early night now. Up at 1am for the journey to heathrow. Let's hope the roads arent too bad! -fingers crossed-.

Thursday 23rd December:

1am and im awoken by the horrid sound of my alarm, however for once im not upset about it as we are hopefully off on holiday!! Right off to jump in the shower now and get myself presentable for today! Feeling extremely tired though, really struggled to get to sleep, reckon I got a few hours of sleep maximum.

Now in the car on the way to the airport. ETA 3am, we will arrive in plenty of time for the flight, however the transfers between the car park and the terminal don't start till 5.... Maybe they will have altered their start times due to all the airport chaos there has been.

My assumption was correct, the busses were running. It's now 3:15am and we are sat in T5, can't drop our bags off until 5. Parents have gone off to get coffee for Laura and I. It all seems very civilised, however one quick look behind where we are sitting shows the true picture of the snow chaos, there are people all lined up in rows sleeping on yellow mats covered in the silver blankets and others just aimlessly walking about. It's amazing how incompetent the UK appears to be when something doesn't go exactly according to plan. Your heart really does go out to these people, they all desperately just want to get somewhere for christmas and their plans are being ruined day after day, BAA don't appear to be able to organised a piss up in a brewery.

Just about to board now! The check in/bag drop opened at 5am (well just after due to late/ slow staff). After the bags were dropped it was off to security and guess what? Lucky me was randomly selected for a drug swipe! Dont worry though, came back clean:). After being processed and taking all my clothes off (quite literally - shoes, belt, jacket, etc) we cleared security and headed for the BA business class lounge. On arrival we proceeded to have bacon rolls and champagne. What a lovely wait to start the holiday. Then I spotted some green and blacks chocolate ice-cream so helped myself as you do! After getting a number of goodies to munch through on the plane, our flight was boarding so we had to leave the lounge and start our trek to gate B32 a whopping 15 mins away (Inc. A quick train ride). After arriving at the gate we are now sat waiting to board. At least we are getting away! Seat 4F, can't be bad.

Well that was quick. Now sat on the plane waiting for everyone else to get on. Sitting next to the window I'm getting a good view of the airport. And guess what; no snow in sight. Has BAA been making a mountain out of a mole hill? I shall let you come to your own conclusions. P.S. I love people watching. There are some weird and wonderful people in this world.

06:45 Plane door closed. Let's get going!!

06:50 Pilot over the intercom - "extra bags being loads due to the snow disruption over the last few days, also our push back crew have not arrived yet. Should be here soon though". Nothing runs smoothly does it? Flight time of 1hr 20mins.

07:05 Taxing to the runway. Not bad at all! Still no sign of all this snow though .....

07:12 We have lift off. Let the holiday commence.

Mid flight now, just had "breakfast" never keen on the plane food, had the fruit but the hot meal really didn't appeal, I wonder how many people actually enjoy it? The cabin crew are very pleasant though which is nice/ makes a change. Just passing over Dijon, making our decent into geneva shortly.

Phew! Well that was quick! Its now 10:22 local time (09:22 GMT) and we are on the train. We had a smooth landing and a quick taxi to the stand. Our luggage came through very quickly and we have managed to get an earlier train than we originally expected. I've got to say it, you can't beat the Swiss in terms of efficiency. Train is very dated though and I'm now on it for 2 hours (lucky me). Also, Geneva it's actually warmer than it is back in the UK with the thermometer boasting a whopping 4C!

Oo the joy. Long train journey, about half way there on this train (have to make a change soon) and a bloody screaming child has just got on and is now sat opposite screaming. The parents have no control, bring in selective breading and sterilisation? I think so. Such a brat, she screams and the parents just give in and give her what she wants. That's no way to bring up a child! Also, the mother Is really fat, ugly and poorly dressed she has nothing going for her - rant over for the time being, back to listening to Rihanna-.

We made it. All unpacked effortlessly and now laying on the bed resting. Lovely hotel/room in a gorgeous suite. The other hotel that let us down have given us free champagne and canapés, very nice. I think the plan is to rest for a bit then we shall venture out and get our ski hire sorted. Luckily we all have our own boots it's just a case of hiring the skis, also - bonus, we can buy the lift passes from the hotel so no messing about in queues tomorrow morning. I can't tell you how hot it is in the room and you can't turn it down, however it really is lovely here. Each evening there is a set menu for dinner and tonight is raclette, which in simple terms is just pure melted cheese on a plate. It's very nice and you can have as much as you want. Only down side is that when we were here around 5/6 years ago the smell of the stuff made me physically sick to the point where I had to run out the restaurant and chunder, happy days!

Friday 24th December:

1st skiing day today. Excited? I know I am. Just had breakfast, lots on offer. Had some fruit, bread and cheese/ham croissants yum! Since I've not been skiing for two years I forgot what a pain it is getting all wrapped up/dressed for skiing, so many layers! But that's nothing compared to what comes next; ski boots! Now back in July I got my very own set of ski boots. Now that is awesome but it makes them no easier to put on!

Walking to the ski lift carrying skis I feel knackered already! It's snowing heavily today which is good because on the journey up the mountain yesterday they really need some snow.

First run of the day: I think we are all stiff and need to get the feeling back/adjust boots to the correct tightness. After a few runs I'm back up to usual speed and feel everyone else is cracking on and up to speed.

Considering this is an awesome ski resort with good long runs and the ability to ski all year round (thanks to the glacier) you would not believe how empty the slopes are, whether the weather is playing a part in that I don't know but on the majority of runs we are on our own and if we aren't I would say there is only one other family in sight. It's incredible and good. However, maybe it's a sign of the times and the financial crisis? It's never been this quiet before and we have been skiing for 12 years. O well I'm not complaining as I don't overly like other people in my space.

Back in the suite now, no muscle ache at all which surprises me. Think I might go lay in the bath for a while and then have a nap before dinner tonight. Not sure what is for dinner (think it might be duck) doesn't matter though as the food is always nice here! It's still snowing heavily and is going to continue until Sunday if you believe the weather forecasters.

Saturday 25th December:

Merry Christmas! Can't believe it's come round again soon quickly. Every year seems to go faster and faster.

Still snowing today, there is a lot here now! Not complaining though - the more the better!! Didn't sleep at all well last night, just couldnt get to sleep. I reckon there was something in the food.

Slopes had been groomed today so skiing was a bit easier, however i do prefer skiing through powder.

Dinner was lovely; 5 course set meal with some strange food combinations but very nice. Forecast for tomorrow is -10c (before wind chill) and very windy with sun. Can't wait! Tell you what, I love the breakfasts you get here, why can't Every day be a holiday??

Highlight of the evening: the piano player playing rule britannia as we walk into the restaurant.

Sunday 26th December

Morning! The sun is shining, views are stunning. What a lovely view to wake up to. Breakfast awesome as per usual.

Looking at the board, the place we were going to ski today is closed due to high winds so we shall ski over to villars instead. You wouldn't believe how cold it is, all of our hands are completely frozen so we stop for a drink and to warm up. Snow conditions are perfect and it's nice to ski in the sun, however the wind is blistering cold! Slopes are markedly busier today but not overcrowded although it is meant to get busier later in the week.

The piste du luge opened today so hopefully it will stay open for the rest of the week and we will go on it, it's always a good laugh.

Dinner today is either pork or salmon, think I will go with the pork as the salmon comes with lentils and I'm not overly keen on them.

Monday 27th - Thursday 30th December

Not written for a dew days, mainly because I've been enjoying myself but also because I've been a little under the weather. That does annoy me, I only had one day off sick from work last year, however as soon as I get on holiday I get a stinking cold!! Not impressed.

Anyway, rant over. Skiing has been brilliant so far, covered lots of ground and many different runs. It has got markedly busier with us queuing for over 20 mins for some lifts, I say queuing, however the art of queuing seems to have been lost on many of our foreign friends so it is more of a free-for-all bun fight!

The weather has been stunning recently with clear blue skis. Perfect skiing conditions! However the slopes are paying the price with some runs turning to brown snow/mud. As a result the plan for tomorrow(Friday) is to head up the glacier 3000 ( owned by Bernie eccelstone ).

As a family we went sledging on Tuesday it was brilliant fun. Mother was quickest which was a shock to us all as usually she is the slowest (bless her). Dad picked up a right lemon of a sledge and after being unable to use it I offered to swap with him (my sledge was perfect so he didn't say no) we then found how to get the other one working. He was on my original one and I was on the broken one, laying on my chest and holding onto the legs of dads one we started to fly down the mountain catching up everyone who had overtaken us and eventually catching both mum and Laura and coming in first ( it was never declared a race but in my head it was always a race, I blame pritchard mentality).

We have found a lovely eatery in town which serves stunning food and patisseries and most days this week we seem to find ourselves in there indulging. Laura decided she liked some fabric so with stunning French spoke to the salesman and purchased a meter or so of the fabric. Whilst cutting the desired length the 'salesman' had a fag hanging out of his mouth. I turned to dad and said ' I can garentee he will drop ash all over the bit we are buying' and guess what.... 30 seconds later the largest lump of ash from the fag dropped all over the fabric. This led to father and I chuckling to ourselves and making snide comments regarding if she wanted more ash with the fabric. Luckily is didn't damage the fabric which was a bonus, what surprised me was the total lack of care of the salesman. He didn't seem at all bothered by this mishap and simply brushed it off and folded it. O well, the main thing is that it didn't cause any damage. On the plus side - mum now has a little project she has somehow managed to be roped into creating pillows from said fabric for Laura but wait no, not just any pillows, there is going to be a heart shaped one. I can't wait to see how this turns out!

Thursday 30th December - the raclette race

Been here a week now, back to the start of the meal cycle and yes you guessed it .... Raclette - the all you can melted cheese scraped onto your plate night. To start with it was very civilised, we had a mountain salad followed by chalet soup. Mum then went on to let the side down and had the fish option instead of the cheese.

You might have gathered from the earlier entry that being a pritchard includes unspoken races such as the sledging one. Anyway, this is where the cheese eating race/competition comes in: Who can eat the most cheese?

First plate comes, Laura protests instantly exclaiming she has two portions on one plate, this is a non excuse though for a number of reasons - 1) that's the way the cookie crumbles 2) she doesn't eat the potatoes that come with it.

Plate after plate the cheese arrives and is consumed. The fifth plate arrives, there is already a lot of huffing and puffing. With each mouthful we know the end is it site. The cutlery is put down and dad, Laura and myself are all defeated. We managed to clear 5 plates each of the artery clotting melted cheese resulting in a draw! How extremely politically correct of us, no one won and no one felt as if they were the looser (bring back competition is what a say!!).

I'm now laying in bed trying not to move so i don't upset the digestion process which is taking place. I can tell you this though at 8am tomorrow I will be extremely hungry again, bring on two bacon rolls, croissants, dried bread things ( no idea what they are but are so nice) coffee and orange juice.

Friday 31st December - New Years eve

The countdown to 2011 has begun. CNN has got excited and is showing you all the celebrations from around the world as they happen, very nice.

Anyways, as expected even after last nights mammoth cheese eating session i will still very hungry this morning, i blame all the exertion of skiing. Due to the fading snow conditions on our usual skiing area we decided to head on up to the glacier 3000 (named that due to its high of 3000m above sea level), we got a bus at 09:34 from just outside the hotel up to the glacier lift. Now this really is a piece of constructional art. This sheer size/weight/location of this lift is impossible to explain, but trust me it's amazing that it can transport you from where it does to where it does.

We all pile into the lift and there must be around 60+ people crammed into this metal box and with a ring of a bell off we go. The ride to the middle station takes under 10minutes, once there there is a mass rush to scramble across the middle terminal to the second lift which swiftly transports you to the summit of the glacier where once again we all bundle out onto a small ledge to put our skis on.

There is then a steep narrow 'chute' which you have to fly down in order to get enough speed up to transport you onto the face of the glacier and onto the skiing area, only issue with this is that in reality it is very steep and narrow and if you hit a small bump then its going to be a long and painful trip down to the glacier with no dignity intact.

Its -4c on the glacier which in terms of what we have experienced in the past (at least -30c) it is 'warm'. The sun is out and it's lovely. We do a few runs and everything goes smoothly as you would expect. Then we pick up the 15 minute T-bar lift back to the top of the glacier in order to ski down from the glacier to the middle lift station. This run is classed as a black run for good skiers only. The four of us venture over to the lip of the run and after the parents leading the way Laura and I commence the run. Why are we at the back you ask? To look after the parents and make sure they are ok. Laura and I are very strong skiers and this isn't a challenge to us and infact mum and dad are both strong skiers too. The issue is; in their heads they don't realise how good their skiing is and begin to tell themselves that it won't be ok - although infact it will.

The run down comes to an end without a glitch. Mum exclaims that she enjoyed it and it was great to hear it. Dad on the other hand was having a bit of a flap and was glad it was over. Its a shame really as it was a very nice run with spectacular scenery and I feel he missed it due to worrying about the gradient of the run too much.

Tonight we have a special 7 course new years meal starting from 7:30pm and goes on till the early hours. This is always a lot of fun due to having pea shooters given to everyone in the restaurant and as you can expect - havoc follows.

Saturday 1st January 2011

Happy new year!

Well, what a stunning night! Lots of drinking and some amazing food! Everyone in the restaurant was smartly dressed and it was very civilised indeed...until a few drinks had been consumed and the pea shoots came out! WW3 broke out and everyone had amazing fun. It was brilliant watching uptight people let their hair down and really enjoy themselves, the smiles and laughter was brilliant.

The countdown to midnight began and the champagne was flowing. When the clock ticked over we all celebrated the new year. During the pea shooting war we were attacking/being attacked by a party of 4 (3men and 1woman), at midnight they came over and wished us a happy new year. After talking to them for a while we find out that they are from Azerbaijan but studied in the UK when they were 15 (they were now 20, my age). They spent well over £700 on champagne and gave me a bottle worth over £150, awesome people!!!

We went skiing today and it was our last day. Legs were aching but we made the most of our last day and packed in a very considerable amount of skiing. Considering driving out here next year for new year again...only time will tell.

Sunday 2nd January.

Travelling home today. I can't tell you how quickly 10 days has gone! Why can't work days go this quickly and nicely? O well that's life, no?

After a leisurely breakfast we finalised the packing and then headed out into the cold for a final walk into town. When you go out in normal clothes and not ski gear you realise just how effective the ski gear is at keeping you warm. A quick glance at the thermometer shows it to be -6c. We walked for around 10 minutes before surrendering to the cold and heading indoors for a coffee.

We once again braved the cold and headed back to the hotel in order to get transported to the village train station. Our suitcases were loaded into the bus when i realised something was missing.... My wallet - with everything in. A sudden feeling of panic consumed me and after asking everyone else if they had seen it i had no idea where I could have left/lost it. It was only when i glanced up for a second that dads smirk caught my eye. Apparently i had left it somewhere earlier and he had picked it up and planned with the rest of the family to have a laugh at my expense. As you can imagine i was less than impressed but pleased to be reunited with my wallet, lesson learnt.

After arriving at our stop we hopped off the train and we had all of 3 minutes to; get our luggage (8 bags) off one train, along the platform, down the stairs, under the track and then up a ramp to platform 2 from 14. We rushed up the ramp to be greeted with the train pulling into the station - cutting it fine to say the least. Finally on the train after a mad rush/ scrum we hunt for seats. It is extremely busy and i find myself on my own away from the family. Luckily after a few stops the crowd on the train thins and we are able to sit together for the remaining of the journey.

Arriving at the airport we swiftly make our way through bag drop off then through priority security. Heading straight to the BA lounge, this lounge is not a scratch on the one at heathrow terminal 5 however it is still nice. Having wine and nibbles waiting for our flight to be called, it is very comfortable.

Sitting on the plane now, waiting for take off. I wonder if we will get off on time? Answer - yes.

Shouldn't sitting in business class be luxurious and relaxing? Well that's certainly the image in my head. But what comes along and ruins it? Two screaming babies. Now don't get me wrong, I love my family. But when it comes to other people my fuse can sometimes be short.

There really is nothing worse than babies crying, mainly because of most peoples inability to shut them up and it ruins the peace and relaxation for everyone else. If i ran an airline I would have a designated area for families with young children to sit. There could be class tiers in there too but just get them away from the rest of us so we can enjoy our flight. Thank god I've only got to endure their screeching for 1 hour 15mins, a very short flight.

Well after moaning about the 'breakfast' served by BA on the flight out i may have to eat my words. We have just had dinner and i must say it was actually quite nice (notice the surprise in my writing). The air hostess just asked me what i would like to drink - The response - 'champagne' ....well there is only one way to end a nice holiday isn't there!

On a side note - you really can't beat looking out of the window of a plane on a clear night over cities (situation report: baby still screaming but hey; at least my iPod is getting good use).

Back on english soil can't say I'm overjoyed about that as it means the holiday is over but i guess all good things come to an end.

After landing at heathrow terminal 5....the newest most advanced terminal at heathrow, we had to disembark the plane down steps onto the Tarmac and onto a bus.....what happened to the walk ways that connect to the plane straight from the terminal? The bus journey took what seemed forever with someone who can't have legally passed their driving test... He was all over the place! Anyway, bus excitement over we proceeded to passport security. It was rather busy, however we have all registered for the iris system so we didn't queue at all we walked straight through with no queuing and went from the bus to baggage reclaim in a matter of minutes.

For a change our bags were one of the first off the plane and on the conveyer belt, we quickly proceeded through customs (nothing to declare) and headed for the bus to take us to the car park where we loaded up the car and headed home.

What a great end to a great holiday.

First blog! failed.....

Well my first blog was going to be an entry i had written when i was on holiday but pages (on mac) has just told me i cant copy from my ipad to my mac due to pages on my ipad being a higher version than on my mac. As a result i will sort it in the morning.

Why wont i sort it now? because i've just landed back from my holiday and i'm off to sleep!
